Anne-Laure - Consultant
1. What did you do before joining Equinox?
I graduated with a Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Paris IX-Dauphine, which included completing a one-year internship at the London office of a French investment bank. Then I decided to focus my career on consulting, and joined Equinox in January 2008.
2. Why did you decide to join Equinox Consulting?
I wanted to work for a young, rapidly-growing company with substantial career development opportunities—and one that gives its consultants considerable responsibility in their projects. Equinox Consulting meets these criteria perfectly.
Moreover, it’s a reasonably-sized company that values personality differences and encourages employee fulfillment.
3. What do you currently do at Equinox Consulting?
I am working on a project for a large French corporate and investment bank, which involves adding internal controls to the back-office system for its capital markets transactions.
4. What do you like best about working at Equinox Consulting?
Equinox has a friendly working environment where the consultants feel comfortable and get along well with each other. I particularly like the way management trusts us and is eager to help, giving us a great deal of independence as we lead our projects.
The other consultants welcomed me into the team very quickly. They gave me useful advice based on their prior experience, and asked me to help with several research projects already underway.
5. What do you do when you are not at work?
My biggest hobby is team sailing, especially when it comes to competing in races, but I also like to go out and travel with my friends and family.
