1. What did you do before joining Equinox?
My background is fairly science-oriented: I studied information systems and new technologies. However, I completed all of my student internships at financial institutions, including BNP Paribas and Euronext. I then took a position in project management with Société Générale’s investment banking division. I worked there for five years, managing various projects for the bank’s Finance Division in Paris and New York, where I lived for two and a half years. When I came back to France from the States, I was looking for a new challenge. I came to Equinox, where I currently oversee the firm’s finance practice.
2. Why did you decide to join Equinox Consulting?
My previous professional experiences had been more operational in nature. I wanted to go into consulting, but it was also important to me to stay in the banking industry and continue to hone my knowledge of finance. I was also looking for a smaller organization with a dynamic, entrepreneurial working environment.
3. What are you currently working on at Equinox Consulting?
I am currently assigned to two of our clients’ finance divisions. My first assignment entails working with an asset management firm to implement a management control system following a merger. My other assignment is a SWOT analysis requested by a major bank’s finance division as part of a plan to set up finance process owners.
4. What do you like best about working at Equinox Consulting?
I really appreciate the team spirit. It is something you perceive both when you are out on assignment and within the firm. The managerial approach here is all about initiative and entrepreneurship. Also, the high-energy working environment is extremely motivating.
5. What do you do when you are not at work?
I like reading and listening to jazz, and I am also interested in alternative medicine.
