All Equinox consultants play an active role in the firm’s business development, regardless of their prior experience or professional background. Every employee is given an opportunity to participate in business development projects, in addition to the day-to-day work they perform for clients.
Skills development
Several issue-specific monitoring groups keep a constant watch over industry changes, and update our services and methods accordingly. These groups are usually overseen by a Partner or Managing Partner, with Equinox consultants playing an active role. Managers are responsible for carrying out the action items identified by the groups. Some of our current monitoring groups focus on issues such as MiFID, Lean Six Sigma, and Solvency II.
Work groups
Our day-to-day operations depend largely on our team of consultants. Because Equinox Consulting is growing so quickly, we must remain responsive in order to rise to new challenges. All consultants are involved in the firm’s daily activities, whether it is writing articles for the company newsletter, updating the company website, developing communications campaigns, or organizing employee and/or client events such as seminars, social outings, breakfast meetings, dinner events, etc.
Hiring
In order to ensure that Equinox Consulting continues to grow, the firm must hire consultants that are a good match for the company culture. Who is better placed to identify new Equinox Consultants than our existing team? Management strongly encourages Equinox consultants to actively participate in the hiring process and over half of the current team has already done so.
