Fanny Chéreau - Senior Consultant

1. What did you do before joining Equinox?

I went to ESC Toulouse business school, where I completed an internship with a leading French bank. After graduation, I spent two years at an auditing firm, working mainly in the field of real estate.
I liked the project-based work so consulting was a natural choice. For the past three years, I have been involved with various organizational and process improvement projects.

2. Why did you decide to join Equinox Consulting?

Equinox Consulting is a young firm, but one that is growing fast, and the challenge appealed to me. I also liked the idea of improving my skills quickly in a wide variety of areas through project work, guidance from managers, training, and, of course, company initiatives.

3. What do you currently do at Equinox Consulting?

I am back at the bank I started out at. I am part of a team assigned to the bank’s risk department to help develop an operational risk management tool pursuant to Basel II. We are currently starting the final acceptance testing phase, with operational rollout slated for mid-2009.

4. What do you like best about working at Equinox Consulting?

Equinox is an innovative firm that values different backgrounds and experience. Individuals play an important role here, which is what makes it such a fascinating place to work. We also get a chance to meet interesting people and form true friendships with colleagues. I think that’s pretty rare.

5. What do you do when you are not at work?

I exercise a bit, watch lots of movies and spend a significant amount of time with my friends and family.
