After starting her banking career as a Retail Securities Project Manager, Meriem Aïzi joined Ernst & Young’s banking consultancy in 1998. She joined Cabinet Odyssée in late 1999, and in 2004 helped found Equinox Consulting. Meriem Aïzi was appointed Equinox Partner in 2007.
Meriem Aïzi specializes in business strategy, organizational change, and performance improvement, in particular using Lean Six Sigma techniques, and works primarily with financial institutions in the fields of capital markets, securities, and asset management.
After working for several years at the corporate division of Crédit Lyonnais, where he acquired hands-on knowledge of the banking industry, Olivier moved to management consulting, starting in 1999 at Odyssée, and later at Equinox Consulting, where he joined the firm’s founding team in 2004.
With expert knowledge of retail banking and specialized financial services, Olivier supports clients in these industries through major organizational transformations. More specifically, he leads the firm’s internal control practice and oversees corporate banking issues.
Jean Bouvier began his career at the Economic Research and Strategy Division of Crédit Lyonnais, where for three years he co-led a banking strategy think-tank. He then worked for Bossard Consultants before moving on to a position at Deloitte & Touche. In 1996, Jean Bouvier was hired by Crédit Agricole to build a multi-channel banking business. He developed the company’s multi-channel strategy and supported regional branches with implementation. After completing this project in 1999, he joined Atos Consulting as Partner.
In early 2004, Jean Bouvier helped found Equinox Consulting, where he developed the CRM, online, and multi-channel consulting businesses. He works primarily in the areas of specialized credit, wealth management, payment solutions, telecommunications, and services.
Jean de Castries started his career at Crédit du Nord, and later joined a Big Four firm as head of its consulting division where he expanded the firm’s financial consulting business. He held various executive-level positions over the next ten years, first at Compagnie de Navigation Mixte (Via Location and Via Voyages), and then as CEO of Atos Euronext.
As an Equinox Strategy consultant, Jean de Castries advises the senior managers of financial institutions based on his vision of trends in asset management, intermediation, and the associated infrastructure, as well as his skills in strategy implementation.
After working for several years at Coteba Management and Atos Consulting, Alexis Collinet helped found Equinox Consulting in 2004. He was appointed Partner in early 2006, and now oversees the Equinox risk management business (where he handles, for example, Basel II and Solvency II).
Alexis Collinet specializes in organizational issues and project management, and works mainly with financial institutions in the areas of corporate finance and retail banking.
After starting his career in banking, Stéphane Court joined Deloitte & Touche in 1988, where he worked with financial institutions. In 1997 he founded Cabinet Odyssée, a consulting firm, which he left in early 2004 to join Equinox Consulting.
Stéphane Court has solid experience in retail banking and specialized financial services, and has led numerous projects in the fields of organizational change (bank mergers and consolidations, IT systems, etc.), performance improvement, and sales force effectiveness.
In particular, he provides services in the areas of retail banking (branch networks, strategic marketing, sales force organization, etc.) and back-office operations, most notably in distribution channel reengineering.
After ten years with Deloitte in Paris, where he served as Managing Partner of the firm’s financial institutions consulting business, in 1996 Jean-Louis Dufloux helped create Odyssée, a management consulting firm later acquired by Atos (a large European IT services company) in early 2000.
In 2004 he became a founding partner of Equinox Consulting, and now serves as a Managing Partner. Jean-Louis Dufloux possesses extensive knowledge of business strategy, organizational issues, and change management as they apply to IT and HR projects. He works mainly with large companies in the services and finance industries (e.g., banking, insurance, asset management, and specialized financial services).
After starting his career in marketing, Grégoire Forbin moved on to event management, and then management consulting when he joined consulting firm Odyssée in 1998.
He then became a member of the team that founded Equinox Consulting in early 2004.
With expertise in human resources, change management, and corporate governance, Grégoire works on major organizational transformation projects at companies in the banking, manufacturing, and services industries.
In addition to these fields, Grégoire leads a number of organizational projects in the commercial banking industry. He is also in charge of international business development at Equinox Consulting.
Laurent Gomez spent the first ten years of his career in the banking industry (specialized finance and retail banking), where he held a variety of managerial positions in marketing and strategy. He then gained entrepreneurial experience at the helm of several IT and Internet companies before joining Equinox in 2005. In 2007, he created the Equinox Consulting Spain branch.
Laurent Gomez has solid experience in retail banking and specialized finance, and works primarily on projects related to new business development, strategy, business expansion, and organizational change (e.g., IS planning and rollout).
After several years providing organizational consulting services to the finance industry, Sophie joined the founding team of Equinox Consulting in 2004. In early 2008 she was named partner and today oversees the firm’s consumer credit practice.
With proven expertise optimizing processes using her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt skills, Sophie also manages major strategic projects (such as SWOT analyses and forecasting, operational business start-ups, and mergers and partnerships) at existing or new financial institutions.
Serge Malka joined Equinox Consulting in 2007 to help expand the Investment Banking and Risk Management businesses. He has five years of experience with Andersen Consulting, one-and-a-half years with Result, and five years with PwC Consulting (now part of IBM Global Business Services).
Serge Malka is a specialist in trading—most notably derivatives trading—and risk management. He brings significant experience with business process and IT systems consulting in France and abroad.
At Equinox Consulting, Serge Malka is in charge of business development for the company’s Front Office and Market Risk operations.
After working for several years at Deloitte Consulting, in 1996 Jean-François Rigal helped set up Odyssée, a management consulting firm, which later became Atos Odyssée. In 2004 he helped found Equinox Consulting and became one of the firm’s Managing Partners. Jean-François Rigal specializes in business strategy, organizational issues, and IT systems. He also advises financial institutions in the areas of capital markets, asset management, and risk management.
