Project consultants are responsible for providing clients with practical solutions to business problems. This often includes developing and implementing new systems and managing the resulting changes within the organization. To serve our clients, project consultants draw on the knowledge and skills gained from previous client projects, as well as the valuable experience of other Equinox consultants.
Equinox Consulting does not function according to a purely vertical chain of command. All employees at all levels of the organization work together on high-added-value projects. Junior consultants are placed in generalist positions for their first few assignments. With the support and supervision of more seasoned consultants, they learn the specifics of client industries and businesses. These initial experiences give junior consultants an opportunity to learn the methods used by Equinox and provide them with exposure to a variety of situations. The goal is to enable junior consultants to rapidly take on additional responsibilities.
Equinox consultants work on a broad range of projects across multiple industries. The firm’s flexible operating model gives consultants a chance to work on a variety of issues covering processes, project management, and change management, for different types of clients including commercial banks, investment banks, and insurance companies.
As Equinox consultants gain experience, they tend to specialize in a specific business or type of assignment.
